The Club de ring français Samara is proud to support TODOS 2025 as an official sponsor. Founded in 2010 by Rachelle Turgeon, our club was born out of a deep passion for canine work and a strong desire to bring the art of French Ring sport to life here in Canada.

French Ring sport originated in France in the early 20th century. This demanding discipline combines obedience, jumping, and protection work. Initially created to highlight the natural abilities of working dogs, it quickly evolved into a structured and respected sport — one that emphasizes technical precision, discipline, and a powerful bond between handler and dog. French Ring is more than just a sport; it’s a culture, a training philosophy, and a tradition passed down with passion.

That spirit is what inspired the creation of Club Samara. For over a decade, we’ve been dedicated to promoting this unique sport across Canada while building strong, committed teams. Our club now includes around 20 active members, three certified decoys (men of attack), and dogs from various breeds including Malinois, German Shepherds, Dutch Shepherds, and more.
