One Team - One Mission

Founded in July 2010, Eurêka is a structured volunteer-led search and rescue organization based in Mauricie, Quebec. Its team of approximately 32 trained volunteers is accredited and ready to deploy at a moment's notice to assist in locating missing persons across forested, urban, and challenging terrains  .

Eurêka works under the direction of Quebec's Ministry of Public Security and in close partnership with law enforcement agencies. Their mission: to conduct rapid and safe search and rescue operations, protecting and serving the community

Eurêka's involvement goes beyond a demonstration—they are a core component of our immersive Land Rover Defender / Search & Rescue zone. With field-ready teams, real-world equipment, and mission-based scenarios unfolding across trails, water, and mountainous terrain, they offer visitors a rare, hands-on look at how search operations truly happen. UNITED K9 was created to celebrate real-world heroes—working dogs, skilled professionals, and dedicated volunteers—and Eurêka embodies every part of that spirit. Their history, services, and tireless commitment to community safety make them a perfect fit for our mission: to shine a light on the courage and expertise that often work silently in the shadows.

In 2024, Eurêka Recherche et Sauvetage was proudly named a finalist in the Land Rover Defender Search, Rescue & Emergency Support Services Award, presented by Pelican. This recognition highlights Eurêka's outstanding dedication to community safety, rapid deployment capability, and their tireless volunteer efforts in some of the province's most challenging environments. Being selected among top-tier organizations across Canada is a testament to the professionalism and impact of the Eurêka team, both on the ground and within the search and rescue community.
