Based in Mirabel, on the north shore of Montreal, Mathilde Vincent has two passions: animals and current events. Her photojournalistic approach aims to capture authentic moments, whether it's nuances in movement or expressions, or the energy felt at public or private gatherings.

Over the past 20 years, Mathilde has developed the ability to perceive and interpret the subtleties of the animal world while devoting herself to breeding sport horses. This intimate understanding of the dynamics between beings and their environment influences each of her images, which celebrate movement, form, and emotion.

Her keen eye, combined with an insatiable curiosity about everything that makes up our world, is evident in the way she documents current events and covers news stories. Mathilde stands out for her ability to blend into the background and reveal interactions between her subjects. As a professional translator, she has mastered the art of synthesizing and communicating information. This expertise, combined with a keen interest in politics and current affairs, complements her ability to tell eloquent visual stories.

Outside of her professional practice, Mathilde divides her time between her two teenagers, her stable, her riding students and dog shows.
