Schutzhund
Robin Winter has spent over 39 years immersed in the world of working dogs — building not only bloodlines, but a lifetime of expertise in breeding, training, and canine behaviour. A second-generation dog woman, Robin was raised around German Shepherds and has carried forward a deep-rooted family tradition with unwavering passion and purpose.
As a licensed Veterinary Technician and lifelong student of canine genetics and behaviour, Robin approaches breeding and training with scientific rigor and instinctual feel. Her commitment to health, structure, and temperament has made her a trusted figure in the working-dog community across Canada and beyond.
Robin's dogs have excelled in Schutzhund, obedience, tracking, protection work, and agility, and she has personally raised multiple generations of stable, driven, and versatile German Shepherds — many of which have gone on to careers in law enforcement, sport, and service work. She has also been instrumental in introducing the Chodský pes (Bohemian Shepherd) to Canada, helping to expand the diversity of capable working breeds.

For Robin, dogs are not just companions or competitors — they are partners. Her training philosophy emphasizes clear communication, mental resilience, and a balanced temperament. Whether in the whelping room, on the training field, or mentoring future handlers, Robin brings decades of knowledge, an honest approach, and a deep love for the craft.
